Medical-Surgical Unit

Our Medical Surgical Unit provides service to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, as well as patients undergoing general and specialized surgeries. The department is staffed by a Hospitalist, to include Mid-level Providers, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Advanced Nursing Technicians/Patient Care Technicians. There are 20 beds in this department. All rooms are private to enhance the privacy of our patients.

Our full-time Registered Nurses are credentialed in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Liberty Regional Medical Center participates in the “Georgia Hospital Association - Hospital Improvement Innovation Network”, and the “Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Program”.
