Imaging and Radiology
Imaging services at Liberty Regional Medical Center are staffed by experienced, registered and certified technologists; ARRT, RT(R), RT(R)(M), RTR (CT), (CMS), ARDMS, RDCS, ARDMS (V), and Board Cerfified Radiologists. All of our equipment is state of the art and inspected annually.
CT:
Our CT Suite is composed of a GE 64-Slice whole body Computed Tomography (CT) system.
The Nexus Varex R and F Room
Our Nexus R&F room is a top of the line angio-unit fully digitalized by Varex. One General Electric 65kw with Hi-Low and floating tabletop to accommodate trauma patients with speed and accessibility is in close proximity to our Emergency Department.
Mammography Suite:
Our Mammogaphy Suite is equipped with Hologic Digital Mammography equipment. This unit is FDA, MSQA, and ACR certified. We have registered ARRT, ARRT(M) mammography technologists on duty five days a week.
Ultrasound Department
Our Ultrasound Department consists of two high-resolution sonography machines, each digitalized for top quality resolution films. All sonographers are registered and certified in their specialty field. The machines utilized are GE Logiq 9 and E10.
Cardiology Technologists
Our Cardiology Technologists are experienced in cardiac and echo technology. The Cardiology Department is equipped with a GE Logiq E9 and E10.
MRI
We now have a new MRI Suite that replaced our older mobile unit. Our patients find the comfort and convenience of the in-house procedure much more satisfying. Our MRI equipment is composed of a Wide Bore Siemens Espree 1.5 Magnet.
